Sponsored Funds Chartstring Line

If you are charging an expense with the “project tail” or sponsored funds please make sure to type in SYRUN in the PC business unit cell in the chartfield.

If this is not included, users will likely get a error red flag warning and unable to save/submit report.

If it is not the PC business unit, please review the account code to make sure its acceptable for the terms of the sponsored award.

For example, if entertainment costs are not allowed then the system won’t let you use the chartstring for food.
