Using Teams on personal devices or University-owned Macs
This is recommended for remote work from home to join Microsoft Teams meetings. Teams meetings require a local webcam and a mic on your home computer.
- Install Microsoft Teams on your home computer or mobile phone HERE.
- For Windows, choose 64 bit.
- You can also use Microsoft Teams from any web browser via https://teams.microsoft.com/.
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- In Windows, click Start and click on Microsoft Teams.
- On Mac, go to the Applications folder and double click Microsoft Teams.
- On mobile, tap the Teams icon.
- Sign in with your SU email and password.
If you have not, please make sure to configure Microsoft Two-Factor Authentication prior to using the software on personal devices or University-owned Macs. Please contact archit@syr.edu if you need assistance.
- Once Microsoft Teams is opened, you will see a list of Teams you have access to.
