Your Blackboard course websites have a built-in, easy-to-use web conference option that will allow you to host a web conference or record class sessions. There is no technical limit on number of participants; We have tested the conferencing tool for up to 100 participants and it has worked well.Â

Telling students about the conference:Â students will NOT get an automatic notification about the conference, therefore you should email them or post an announcement about the conference on your Blackboard course website (or both).
Application sharing is not available in browsers supported using Flash. If you want to share an application, use Chrome or Firefox with WebRTC.
Disabling Chat:
1.) In the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra Session, click on "My Settings"
2.) Under "Session Settings", navigate to the "Participants can:" section. Make sure that "Post chat messages" is unchecked in order to disable the chat.Â
