When you start your meeting, the Live-transcription (closed captioning) is not automatically enabled for all of your meetings by default, you must enable them in order for your participants to have the ability to enable/view them.
To enable live-transcription, first start your meeting.
In the meeting controls toolbar, click the Show Captions icon . This will enable the auto captioning. It will prompt you to select your preferred language, English is the default language.
In the meeting controls toolbar, next to the Show Captions icon , click the up arrow icon . This will provide access to the Caption Settings, where you can adjust the size, color, and other settings for the Closed Captions.
With the CC enabled, your Zoom participants now have the ability to enable/view the captions generated automated through Zoom. Participants can click Show Captions in the meeting controls toolbar to view closed captions.
Note:
The accuracy of the automated captions depends on many variables, such as but not limited to background noise, volume and clarity of the speaker’s voice, and lexicons and dialects specific to geography or community.Â
