Economics Waiver Exam – It’s Not Too Late!
The PAIA department offers the opportunity for students to test out of the Economics core requirement by taking a waiver exams. These are held once a year prior to the beginning of the fall semester. August 20th (Economics). Any student interested in taking these exams can use the sign-up link below:
In the event that you pass the waiver exam, you must fulfill those credits by taking an extra 3-credit elective course. These credits are not waived completely, they are only waived from taking the statistics or economics course.
If you are taking a waiver exam, it is very important that you plan to register for PAI 721 or PAI 723 just in case you do not pass the exam. If you do not register for the course when registration opens and you do not pass the exam, you risk losing your seat in the course.
Resources to prepare for the waiver exams can be found on the answers page here. |
