Adding/Deleting Students from LISTSERV

Adding to the Listerserv

  1. Go to answers.syr.edu
  2. Enter “Listserv at Syracuse University”
  3. On the Listserv page, under “Listserv Subscribers,” log into Subscriber’s Corner.
  4. Then click on “Subscriber Management” on the left side of the screen.
  5. In the “Select List” box, hit on the down arrow and choose the listserv that the student is to be added.
  6. Enter the student’s email address in the gray listserv box. Indicate “Do Not Notify the User.” Then, hit “Add Subscriber.”
  7. Next, on the same page, enter the student’s email address in the “Search for Subscriber’s” box and hit “SEARCH.”
  8. Now add the student’s name and hit “Update Settings.”

Each major should be added to two listservs.


Deleting from the Listserv

  1. Go to answers.syr.edu
  2. Enter “Listserv at Syracuse University”
  3. On the Listserv page, under “Listserv Subscribers,” log into Subscriber’s Corner.
  4. Then click on “Subscriber Management” on the left side of the screen.
  5. In the “Select List” box, hit on the down arrow and choose the listserv that the student is to be deleted.
  6. Enter the student’s email address in the “Search for Subscriber’s” box and hit “SEARCH.”
  7. Hit “Delete” at the bottom of the page.
