SU Library and Local DC Library Resources
SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY RESOURCES
Syracuse University has outstanding library resources, which can be accessed remotely from any location. On behalf of Syracuse University Libraries, you have access to traditional and electronic books, online journals, statistical datasets and more. Moreover, you have access to a subject specialist librarian and a slate of additional library services, all geared toward assisting you in your academic and professional success. A significant percentage of this material can be accessed from any computer or mobile device, at any time of the day or night. Just have your Syracuse University NETID and password handy, and in most instances be sure to begin exploration of these materials via the SU Libraries website https://library.syr.edu .

Zotero
Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is an application that collects, manages, and cites research sources. It's easy to use, connects with your web browser to download sources, and best of all it's free. Zotero allows you to attach PDFs, notes and images to your citations, organize them into collections for different projects, and create bibliographies: Zotero research guide.

LOCAL DC RESEARCH FACILITIES
DC University Libraries: You can gain access to the libraries at George Washington University and American University with your student ID to read books and other materials, but not take them out on loan.
Library of Congress: You can obtain a reader's ID card at the Library of Congress, and a reserve shelf for any materials available at the LC. It's one of the wonders of the modern world.
DC/VA/MD Libraries: There are local branches of the DC library for which you can obtain a borrower's card with DC, VA or MD address. Reciprocal agreements between states and the District grant residents in all areas access to libraries across the Metro region, but borrowing privileges may be limited in some locations.
