How to login to Adobe Creative Cloud

The Newhouse School is licensing the Adobe Creative Cloud for all students enrolled in active Newhouse courses for the current semester.  In order to use this suite of software, students are required to have access to computing resources that meet the schools minimum technology requirements.  Please refer the Newhouse technology requirements page for more information.   Eligible students will need to install and login to the Adobe Desktop App on their personal computer in order to access the assortment of software provided.

I am currently paying for an Adobe Creative Cloud license

  • You will need to open the Adobe Desktop App and "Sign out" of your current account  (please note this may take several minutes)

 

  • Once signed out, restart your computer
  • After the reboot, follow the instructions outlined on the Adobe at Syracuse University answers page  to access a Newhouse Adobe license

Please note: you will continue to be billed for your personal subscription plan until you cancel your subscription.  For more information please reference the Cancel Adobe trial or subscription support page.


I am currently using an Adobe Creative Cloud "trial license"

  • You will need to open your Adobe Desktop App click on the account icon (blue icon in the upper right corner) select the “Adobe Account” link

  • In the web browser window that appears, click on the account icon (blue icon in the upper right corner) and select the “Sign out” link (please note this may take several minutes)

  • When the logout process from the web browser is complete you will need to return to the Adobe Desktop App
  • Using  the Adobe Desktop App click on the account icon (blue icon in the upper right corner) select the “Sign Out” link (please note this may take several minutes)
  • When successfully logged out, reboot your computer
  • One you’ve rebooted your computer follow the instructions outlined on the Adobe at Syracuse University answers page  to access a Newhouse Adobe license



I have the Adobe Desktop App installed and need to apply a Newhouse Adobe license


I do not have any Adobe software installed
