ESRI ArcGIS Pro User License

ArcGIS Pro

ArcGIS Pro allows the user to create maps from combining geospatial and numeric data layers.

License Information

License Type: This is a User license which allows all active Syracuse University students to install ArcGIS Pro on a personal computer at no cost. In addition, faculty and staff licensed to use ArcGIS on a University device may also install ArcGIS Pro on a personal computer at no additional cost. Faculty and staff should confirm eligibility for this license with their distributed staff personnel before proceeding. A current listing can be found on the ITS Website.

License Access: An ArcGIS Pro User license is associated with membership in an ArcGIS organization.  You will need to authenticate through the University's SSO by logging in with your University provided work or school account. Please note ArcGIS Online Named User accounts are no longer necessary. For more information contact us at arcgis@syr.edu.

License Rights: With a User license, a member starts ArcGIS Pro by signing in to the application with their University provided account. The license authorizes use of ArcGIS Pro on up to three computers at the same time by the same person.

License Restrictions: These instructions are intended solely for installation on personal devices. If you need to install on a University owned device, including lab or classroom use, please contact your distributed staff personnel. A current listing can be found on the ITS Website.

System Requirements: Please ensure your computer meets the system requirements for ArcGIS Pro.
