Faculty/Staff Home Use: Faculty and Staff licensed for Microsoft Office through the University can download Office products on up to 5 devices through your Microsoft 365 account. Please see the Microsoft 365 at Syracuse University page for more information on this option. Home use is not available for Operating Systems.
Availability
Institutional Licenses For Faculty/Staff: ITS currently licenses all active faculty, staff and students for Microsoft 365, including Windows. ITS also licenses the Core Server Platform which provides licensing for unlimited instances of Windows Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server, Lync Server, Windows Server External Connector, Exchange Server External Connector, SharePoint Server for Internet Sites Standard, Lync Server Standard External Connector and Windows HPC Server. A variety of other products may also be licensed for specific school, college or department use. Requests for institutional purchases of additional products can be directed to your distributed staff personnel. A current listing can be found on the ITS Website.
Student Licenses: Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 are both available to current SU students at no charge. Please see Microsoft 365 at Syracuse University and Windows 10 Download Guide for information.
