Transfer Credit Evaluation
For us to accurately create a transfer credit evaluation and an academic plan for you, we will need all course descriptions or course syllabi for all the classes you took at your previous institution. Please make sure to send this information as soon as possible to our email address:Â vpaosa@syr.edu.
Once your official transcript and additional materials have been provided, be on the look out for a transfer credit evaluation. These are sent to your email address. Make sure to request official copies of your transcript be sent to our office via email or mailed directly:
College of Visual and Performing Arts
Syracuse University
200 Crouse College
Syracuse, NY 13244-1010
If you completed coursework during the spring semester, please wait until those grades have been posted before requesting a transcript. Once we have processed your final transcript, you will receive an updated credit evaluation outlining the number of credits that have been accepted.
Please understand that due to the sequential nature of our programs, we cannot guarantee that your graduation timeline will align with your previous institution.
Registration
You will receive a Qualtrics form in June and then a staff member will contact you to assist with course selections. Course options will be dependent on required courses and elective availability.
