Supporting Women in Geography
The Supporting Women in Geography (SWIG) group at Syracuse’s Department of Geography and the Environment supports and promotes women graduate students by fostering an inclusive space for Intellectual, professional, emotional, and social networking & dialogue. SWIG provides a space for dialogue about issues related to gender, sexuality, and diversity in Geography and academia more broadly, as well as provide resources to support research conducted by members. Non-binary and women-identifying geography graduates are welcome.
