Tracking Alumni/Employer Engagement in Handshake

Contacts in Handshake allows you to track and manage your external relationships without needing to entice users to create a Handshake Account. Contacts "can be thought of as a virtual address book." Contacts can also be used to take Notes (and tag other Advisors regarding the Notes) and filter by any specific labels you may need relevant to your department. For more information on Alumni in Handshake visit the Handshake for Career Services Answers Page regarding Alumni.

Bulk Imports for Handshake

If you have preexisting data management files (e.g.: excel) with more than a handful of entries that you would like to integrate into Handshake, please take advantage of the import abilities provided by our SU IT team by emailing handshake@syr.edu.
