The University has a variety of resources to assist you in sharing and publicizing your exciting work and successes, including news items like:

• High-profile publications
• Faculty or trainee awards
• Successful funding proposals

All faculty in the Bioinspired Institute are encouraged to request help promoting news items using this form. We will be in touch with you shortly!

We encourage faculty to submit news items to BioInspired even if your college offices are assisting so that we are ready to help promote when a story or social media post is ready for distribution.

Public Outreach Gallery (June 3, 2021)

To inform the existing landscape of the BioInspired Institute’s outreach efforts, the first, very important step was a public outreach gallery, where all BioInspired faculty were invited to share the broader impacts work they are planning or already doing. The purpose of the gallery was to:

• Allow folks to share their ideas with other faculty to identify areas of overlap and collaboration
• Highlight our ideas to organizations on campus that might be able to help us in the future.

The information collected was compiled into a presentation downloadable here or below, with outreach efforts organized by outreach modality:

• Lectures/exhibits
• Service to the community
