- If you already have a Microsoft account, skip to Step 2. If you do not already have a Microsoft account, navigate tohttps://account.microsoft.com/account?lang=en-us and create an account.
- Click on Create a Microsoft Account next to Sign In.
- Navigate the email in which you received the invitation to join the Teams channel and open the invitation.
- Click on Open Microsoft Team.
- This will open a new tab in your browser with the following pop-up. Click on Accept.
- Once you press Accept you will be prompted with the the screen below. Click on Use the web app instead to open the Teams channel in your browser.
- If you want to download the standalone desktop app for you personal device, navigate to https://teams.microsoft.com/downloads to download the app.
