Due to various Listserv restrictions, we have moved our notifications to the Teams platform. We recommend subscribing and configuring notifications on the following channels as you see fit.

Tech Services Announcements

  • Used for events such as widespread outages or any "mission-critical" information relevant to a significant portion of iSchool users

  • Notifications are recommended (we won’t SPAM you)

  • Missed activity e-mails are recommended for infrequent Teams users

    • Teams settings → Notifications and activity → Missed activity emails

Downtimes

Open this channel in Teams

  • Used for more targeted notifications (no community-wide impact)

    • Server maintenance windows

    • ITS scheduled outage windows

    • Niche service outages

  • Recommended for faculty that have hosted servers/services in the AVHE
