Physics Department Office staff in person schedule Spring 2021

In order to make sure the Physics department main office continues to provide services, we have worked out the following plan.
The Physics Department Office (Physics Building 201) will be staffed in person by Administrative Assistant, Yudaisy Salomon Sargenton on Mondays and Fridays during regular business hours, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Temp Budget Administrator, Alec Thompson will staff the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am – 5:00 pm. Incoming phones calls will go to voicemail email to phyadmin@syr.edu for immediate attention.
The Academic Coordinator will have posted access via phone, Zoom, Teams, email and student computer access for electronic features like Zoom via the equipment in Room 203 available during regular business hours.
Important contacts to the staff are made using generic email addresses:
phyadmin@syr.edu for general contacts,
phybudget@syr.edu for budget inquiries, and
phyacademics@syr.edu for academic-related issues.
Each of these emails go to multiple staff in order for the staff to support back-up for each other.
Staff members not working in the office during the timeframe noted above will be working from home. While working from home, staff members will have set drop-in hours on Zoom. Both the in person and drop-in hours are posted on an internal Answers website with the times and links.
