Research Areas

Please use this field to identify areas of research for the faculty member. In most units, these fields are used as filters on the faculty listings to help find faculty who focus on specific topics of research.

Here is how they are presented in the History department's faculty listing page.

When editing this field, it's important to NOT update the "Topics" field. This field which is nested under Research Areas is managed by the Communications team.

To use this field, click the "+" icon >> "Show all unit-provided research and study areas" >> locate the unit >> check relevant research and study areas for the faculty member.

Note: please do not check any top-level items labeled with **Container** in the name.
