GeoGO (Geology Graduate Student Organization)
The Geology Graduate Student Organization (GeoGO) is led by graduate students from the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Our purpose is to improve the overall quality of the graduate student experience. We provide a variety of opportunities to nurture scientific/academic discussion and promote effective science communication including, but not limited to, the weekly Waggoner Geology Graduate Seminar (WAGGS), social events, and other professional events throughout the year. Each spring, the Earth and Environmental Sciences graduate students plan and host the Central New York Earth Science Student Symposium (CNYESSS).
