Syracuse University Accounts

Because this discounted pricing is based on volume we need a way to be able to track how much captioning we are doing across the University. We have set up a single, primary account for Syracuse University, and each department/unit that would like to take advantage of this pricing can request a sub-account. This will allow you to create and manage your own users, submit and track your own captioning requests, and handle your own billing, while still being able to take advantage of the volume pricing.

See the Current List of Syracuse University Sub-Accounts to find out if your department is already set up for a sub-account.

Create an Account for your Department/Unit

To create a sub-account for your unit:

  1.  Go to the AST/CaptionSync login page and choose 'Sign Up Here'
  2.  Fill out the form using your own information under User
  3. Enter your department/unit billing information
  4. Enter Reference Code: Syracuse
  5. Click Apply for Account

Once your account is confirmed you can then use your dashboard to add users:

  1. Choose Settings
  2. Choose Manage Users
  3. Choose Add New User
  4. Choose level of access

And that's it!
