School of Information Studies Technology Services offers software purchasing services and product consultation, license agreements, approval facilitation and purchase/installation.
All software installed on University-owned computers must have a valid license. iSchool IT maintains records of all purchased software license agreements. Software not funded at the University level is funded by school, department or program funds.
Requests for specialty software will be require approval from the IT Director for compatibility with operating standards and compliance with University policies for information security and copyright.
All software purchased with University funds for installation on University-owned equipment is installed and maintained by iSchool IT.
