Use this method to substitute a missing or incorrectly identified font when opening InDesign documents, using Grotesque as an example.

  1. When the initial Missing Fonts box opens, click ‘Find Fonts...'.

  2. In the Find Font window, do the following:

    1. Click each font with a yellow triangle one at a time and change the Font Family and Font Style to match (i.e., change Font Family to Grotesque MT Std, and Font Style to Regular or Bold).

    2. After doing each one, click the ‘Change All’ button. The little yellow triangle symbols should disappear.

    3. Click Done. The font(s) should now be changed throughout the document.
    4. Save your changes so you won’t have to repeat this process next time.
