This guide will show you how to add another mailbox to your Outlook Desktop App (proxy) on a school-provided Windows computer.
  1. In Outlook, click File > Add Account

  2. In the Account Setup screen, enter the email account of the proxy mailbox in the Email Address field.

  3. When prompted, click Exchange for accounts created prior to 2021; otherwise click Office 365.

  4. Verify that the setup completed with “Account successfully added”; click Done.

    If you are prompted to enter a password, click 'More choices'. Then for username use ad\[NetID] and enter your NetID password.

  5. Close and reopen Outlook; your proxy mailbox should be on the left pane below your current.

    Tips:
    • To send an email from that account, you can click on the Inbox folder of the newly added account and then select New Email from the Outlook top pane.
    • You can also select your desired 'send from' email by clicking on the From field from any account.
