- First confirm you have been granted access to Degree Works:
- Degree Works is for students enrolled in a degree program at Syracuse University. Access starts 4 weeks before your first term. If you are not enrolled (active in degree program, registered for coursework), you will not have access to Degree Works.
2. Are you going to correct screen in MySlice?
- From the student home page, students will click on Advising tile to access Degree Works: What a Student Sees - Information Technology Support - Answers (atlassian.net)
3. Next, make sure you are using your Syracuse account for Multifactor Authentication (MFA) sign in. MFA will not work for logging into MySlice if you use your personal Microsoft account.
- You can review which Microsoft profile you are using simply by going to Microsoft Edge and clicking on the profile icon at top left of screen:
- If your “….@syr.edu” displays, you are in your Syracuse Microsoft profile.
- It may be useful to add account so you can toggle between your personal and Syracuse profiles if needed.
4. Try accessing MySlice and Degree Works in an incognito/private window. Were you successful? If so, it could be a caching issue with browser when not in private/incognito mode (see step 5).
