The three projectors use special software to merge and blend into one large display.

  • Login to computer using arch-224 account

Create your content at this resolution: 5760 x 1080.

Turn on the projectors

  • Double click the Epson Projector Management icon on the desktop.

  • Enable all three projectors using the checkboxes, then click Power > On

  • Wait for the projectors to turn on. The desktop will look misaligned. This is normal and is fixed later.

  • Go on to the next section.

Start Immersive Display

  • Double click the Immersive Display icon on the desktop.

  • In the main window, left click anywhere on the strip with the three projectors. A long popup list will appear. Click External calibration (.procalib).

  • In the file selection window, select the file ‘calibration 250218a.procalib’ and click Open. Nothing will appear to change.

  • Now click the ‘Enable Desktop Warping’ button.

  • The screen will flicker and change into blended mode. You can now move your content to the merged display.
    Please do not change the resolution, disable the AMD Eyefinity group, or physically move the projectors, as this will wreck the calibration.

Turn off the projectors

  • First make sure to Disable Desktop Warping in Immersive Display. Then quit Immersive Display.

  • Double click the Epson Projector Management icon on the desktop.

  • Enable all three projectors using the checkboxes, then click Power > Off.

  • Wait for the projectors to turn off.

Troubleshooting

  • Starting Immersive Display gives an error “Displays configuration mismatch!”.

    • Solution: make sure the three projectors are turned on before you start Immersive Display.
