Ultra Course Building Sprints

Ultra Course Building Sprints

Online Learning Services is not scheduling sprint events at present. Please refer to Getting Up to Ultra Speed for other training opportunities and support resources.

Overview

Join Online Learning Services (OLS) for an Ultra Course Building Sprint — a hosted event designed to support instructors as they work on building courses in the new view. Participants will create new course materials in ultra and import existing materials from original courses into an ultra course.

Participants will join a large Zoom meeting with OLS staff and other instructors actively working on ultra content. The goal is to create collaborative and supportive opportunity for instructors to create or import content during the event.

Instructors that register for a sprint event will need access to an ultra course. Before registering, please enroll in the Ultra View Orientation Course for access to an ultra course sandbox and an introduction to the basics of ultra courses. Ideally, instructors will view the orientation materials before attending a sprint event, but don't let it prevent you from joining us for a sprint — the best way to learn ultra is to try it!

Events

Instructors are encouraged to attend as much of the event as possible and work on their courses in solidarity with other instructors building ultra courses, but they may come and go as needed. Instructors are invited to attend more than one event to work on their course or courses.

Register following events by clicking them and completing the registration form. Please register separately for each individual event you'd like to attend.

Throughout the session, instructors will work on their courses with OLS addressing questions as they arise.
