Dialing Instructions

Please refer to the Telecommunications Department's Answers page for specific dialing instructions. 

Announcement: In order to reduce the number of accidental 911 calls being placed, beginning 4/18/22 when using new VoIP telephones: users will need to dial 8+(area code)+(phone number) or 8+1+(area code)+(phone number) to make calls off campus, both local and long distance. On this date, users will no longer be able to dial 9+(area code)+(phone number) to make local calls. This change does not apply to users on the legacy Verizon Centrex phone system.
