• Choose an open source license: A great resource for helping you to select a license for your open-source project.

• Cornell Data Storage Finder: Nice utility for finding data-storage resources. Some of the resources listed there are Cornell-specific, but many others are widely available.

• Open Source in Academia Map: An index of academic OSPOs and their missions. Maintained by SustainOSS (see below).

• Syracuse University on GitHub: Enterprise GitHub account for Syracuse University.

Organizations

• Open Source Initiative: Body that defines what “open source” legally means, sets policy and standards, and advocates for open source.

• CURIOSS: A collaboration of academic OSPOs (Syracuse is one!)

• SustainOSS: Organization devoted to open-source sustainability.
