Maxwell Undergraduates Recognized in Seventh Annual Celebration of Undergraduate Scholarship

On May 1, 2019, the Maxwell School celebrated the achievements of undergraduate scholarship in the Social Sciences in the seventh annual Maxwell Celebration of Undergraduate Scholarship. Our celebration consisted of individual events hosted by each department as well as a multi-disciplinary poster session featuring research undertaken by undergraduate students during the current academic year.

The following awards were presented during the celebration: 

MAX 123/132 Exemplary Student Paper Award, selected by MAX course faculty:

MAX 123 – Lucas Snell for his untitled paper

MAX 132 – Sophia Perida for her paper titled Salad Bowls and Melting Pots

Outstanding Student Research Paper, selected by a Maxwell faculty committee:

Joseph Pucciarelli for his paper titled Ratification and Republicanism: Suppressed Voices in the Public Sphere

Honorable Mention Research Paper, selected by a Maxwell faculty committee:

Cameron Taylor for his paper titled Unintended Consequences: Assessing the Realized Impact of Dodd Frank

Best Poster Award, selected by a committee of Maxwell graduate students:

Luz Perez for her poster WOC Entrepreneurs: Understanding the complexities in women of color's entrepreneurial journey

Research Poster Honorable Mention, selected by a committee of Maxwell graduate students:
