  1. Navigate to the Placement Exam Section in MySlice



  2. Select: Take Placement Exams


  3. The student will be directed to the BlackBoard Website where they will be required to enter their netid (example jsmoe) and password



  4. Click on Placement Exams



  5. Choose the Math Placement Exam:




  6. Click on the Math Placement Exam in the Main Window and follow the instructions to take the test.



  7. Click Begin to start the test. READ and follow the instructions to take the test.



  8. The student will be given one question at a time.  When they navigate to the next question the current question will be saved. The student will have the opportunity to submit at the end of the 50 questions.  When complete click Save and Submit.
     
    A warning will be displayed if there are any unanswered questions. The student should use the arrows to navigate back through the test to answer unanswered questions. 



  9. Be sure to confirm submission when the following window pops up.



  10. After confirming submission the student will be able to Click OK to review exam results. The student must wait for the “Test Submitted” screen below to ensure the system has recorded their grade.


    The OK button is in the lower right hand side of the screen.  The student may need to use the scroll bar to view.

    The student will be able to view their math course eligibility in Step 12 below.

  11. Please log out after reviewing your score.



  12. To review the math course eligibility go to the MySlice Placement Exam Section.
