The History Writing Lab is a free service, provided by  our History Graduate Students, to assist you with your history course writing assignments each semester. We are offering virtual and in-person Writing Labs this semester. The Writing Labs will run through finals week this Fall. You do not need to schedule an appointment to attend, as these are simply drop-in lab hours.

You are welcome to stop by the virtual or in-person History Writing Labs with assignment ideas, outlines, drafts, or to ask for general advice regarding your History Writing Assignments. You do not have to come prepared with a full draft or final paper.

Please keep in mind that the History Writing Lab is for History Course Writing Assignments ONLY and assistance with non-history writing assignments will not be provided. If you need assistance with non-history writing assignments, please make an appointment at The Writing Center. If you have questions regarding grading or grading policies, please visit your TA or History Professor during their office hours.
