Overview

Microsoft Bookings is a powerful online scheduling and appointment management tool that streamlines the process of organizing appointments, meetings, and reservations. Integrated with Office 365, it offers users the ability to create customized booking pages that allow clients to view availability, schedule appointments, and receive confirmation emails. The tool also includes an intuitive dashboard for managing appointments, rescheduling or canceling appointments, and tracking client information.

Some general use case examples for Microsoft Bookings include academic advising appointments, career counseling appointments, guest lecture scheduling, research meetings, and equipment reservations. For instance, academic advisors can use Microsoft Bookings to schedule appointments with students, while the career center can schedule career counseling appointments with students. Professors can use the tool to schedule guest lectures, while faculty members and research assistants can schedule research meetings. Additionally, university departments can manage equipment reservations through the tool, such as scheduling camera and tripod loans for student projects.
