Is video for academic use?

  1. If the video is for academic use
    1. Has an accommodation been requested?
      1. If Yes, an accommodation has been requested, then captioning will be done through the Office of Disability Services
      2. If No, an accommodation has not been requested, then will the video be used multiple semesters?
        1. If Yes, the video will be used for multiple semesters, then caption the video
        2. If No, the video will not be used multiple semesters, then captioning is not required.
  2. If the video is not for academic use
    1. Who is the intended audience?
      1. The video is intended to be posted on an Syracuse University web page and made available to the public, then caption the video
      2. The video is intended to be archived and not available to the general public, then caption the video upon request for captions
