Architecture printing account balance

  • Request a refund of an unused arch account balance by sending a request to archit@syr.edu.
  • The request must be made at the end of each the semester, up to two weeks past graduation.
  • Refunds may take several weeks to process and will be posted as a credit to your SU bursar account.

  • Access to your SU Google Drive files and @g.syr.edu account will be removed 90 days after the spring term end date (usually a few days before graduation).
  • There a couple of ways to save your data.
    1. Migrate it directly to a personal Google account using Google's automated migration service.
    2. Download the data using Google Takeout (full data export) and then upload it to a personal cloud storage or save on your computer.

      Warning: Don't rely on keeping a synced/offline copy of your SU Google Drive in lieu of one of the above methods. Files in Google's own formats like Docs, Sheets, etc., are shortcuts to the files that only exist in Google's Cloud. Only by using Google Takeout or downloading will the files be preserved (they are converted to Microsoft Office formats).

BlackboardEnds 12 months after graduation.

Ends 12 months after graduation. See how to export email.
HandshakeEnds 12 months after graduation, although you can Continues past graduation; however, you must update your Handshake account to use a personal email address as your primary address.
Kaltura (video.syr.edu)Ends 12 months after graduation. Download videos you wish to save. SU Zoom recordings will no longer backup to Kaltura.
MySliceEnds 12 months after graduation.
QualtricsEnds 90 days after graduation. If you created a survey for faculty or staff, change ownership of the survey to that faculty or staff.
Remote AccessEnds when your affiliation in the SU system changes to 'alumni', typically within 3 months of graduation.
ZoomEnds 12 months after graduation; prior to that, account is downgraded to a basic account and loses the Pro features, such as Cloud Recordings and meetings longer than 45 minutes.
