Operating as an on-premise application for over 13 years, Frevvo Forms initially served as a form generator with a submission repository. It allowed users to build web forms and facilitated the sending of form submission data to the Orange Tracker system for ticket creation. More recently ITS has decided to decommission Frevvo Forms services, due to the availability of alternative solutions, substantial staff effort required for maintenance and upgrades, several incidents affecting functionality, and concerns regarding vendor support. Syracuse University will continue licensing Frevvo, until the end of the Fall 2024 semester. Form owners should review and inventory their deployed form, then select alternatives aligned to the respected purpose of their forms. Form owners will need migrate forms, and move submission data before that time. ITS is recommending the use of the alternative solutions, listed below, in order to meet specific needs. |
