The first time you print you’ll get a pop-up box where you want to type in:
Username: AD\netid
Password: Your netid Password
If you enter in your netID or password incorrectly after checking the box to save to your keychain it will not prompt again. You’ll need to launch Keychain Access and find the “printers.ad.syr.edu” login keychain and delete it. Once you do that the next print job will have the authentication box pop back up.

Windows Instructions
Click the Start button and type run into the search box and press Enter. The run dialog can also be accessed by holding down the Windows Key on your keyboard and pressing the R key. Type \\printers.ad.syr.edu\ into the run dialog box and click OK:
This credential box should show up:
Type in
Username: AD\netid
Password: Your netid Password
Make sure you check Remember my credentials.
