If you are experiencing issues with the web interface, you can utilize a remote desktop client to connect to Syracuse University's Remote Desktop Services.

Below are instructions on how to connect with an RDP Client for Windows and Mac.

Warning

You must first receive the RDP file from the web browser in order to connect through the RDP client.

Windows

  1. Download and open this RDS Windows Connection Filethe RDP file for the RDS pool. (See: Retrieving an RDP file for Remote Desktop Services via WebClient )
  2. You will be prompted with a login
    1. Under username, enter: AD\<Your NetID>
    2. Under password, enter: <Your NetID Password>

  1. Download and install the Microsoft Remote Desktop Mac App
  2. Download and open this RDS Mac Connection Filethe RDP file for the RDS pool. (See: Retrieving an RDP file for Remote Desktop Services via WebClient )
  3. You will be prompted with a login
    1. Under username, enter:  <Your NetID>
    2. Under password, enter: <Your NetID Password>
