• The installation file is located on the G drive in G:\ARCH\Student Resources\Software\SAP2000\.

Limitations

• The software will only function while functions when connected to the campus wireless network (AirOrangeX). It won't work from off campus.

• The software may only be used for educational course work; no commercial use is permitted.

How to install

1. Copy the file SAP2000v2330LegacySetup.exe from the G drive to your computer.

2. Double click the file to start the installation.

3. Choose 'install for everyone' if asked.

4. Fill in the following:
       User name: School of Architecture
       Organization: Syracuse University
   

5. Choose Network License.
   

6. After the installation is done, copy the file LMHOST.INI to the following location on your computer and overwrite the existing file if asked:

   C:\Program Files\Computer Structures\SAP2000 23\
