Each credit card has a pre-set per transaction maximum spending limit (currently $3,000 for procurement and $9,999 for travel). Splitting of transactions is not allowed. If you need to request a credit limit increase please follow these steps.

Send an email request to the University JPMC team at jpmcsucc@syr.edu with a cc to the Budget Manager (lawbudget@syr.edu).
1. Email Subject should include "Credit Limit Increase" , the name of the cardholder and effective date.
Include the following information in the email:
1. The full name as the cardholder
2. The last 4 digits on the card
3. The amount of the increase
4. The reason for the increase (business purpose)
5. The date range that the increase needs to be active.
The Budget Manager will reply to the email with approval so that JPMC has authorization to proceed with the increase. JPMC will send an email response confirming that the limit has been raised for the duration specified.
