The Middle Eastern Studies Program (MESP) is pleased to invite applications from its affiliated faculty members at Syracuse University to support the development of graduate-level courses or units within existing courses that would increase the coverage of the MENA region to a minimum of 33%.  MESP will award two graduate course development grants at $2,000 per course.  New courses to be developed will be cross-listed with MES.  The courses or units should be developed within the year of the award being made and scheduled or fit within a course no later than the 2024-2025 academic year. To apply for this grant, please email a proposal to Eleanor Langford (evlangfo@syr.edu) that includes the title of the proposed course or course to receive supplemental material, a course or unit description of 100-200 words, and a timeline.  Applications must be received by April 1, 2023.  For further information or questions about eligibility, please get in touch with Eleanor Langford.
