Events, Trainings, & Workshops

ITS Online Learning Services regularly hosts Events, Trainings, and Workshops on how to enhance teaching and learning with technologies. Events will be posted to this page along with links to registrations and applications.

Fall 2024 Instructional Technology Tools Series

This Fall, ITS Online Learning Services (OLS) is hosting a series of events for instructors to become more familiar with some of the instructional technologies that are licensed for all campus users to use and integrated with the Blackboard learning management system. Sessions will be hosted on Zoom at 1:00 pm on Fridays for an introduction to the following tools:

  • PlayPosit — Make your course video content interactive (9/27)

  • Qwickly Attendance — Simplify tracking and grading student attendance (10/4)

  • Poll Everywhere — Use live polls (and more!) in your face-to-face courses (10/11)

  • SensusAccess — Make your course content more accessible (10/18)

  • Respondus — Using LockDown Browser with online exams (10/25)
