- Students will produce well-reasoned, well-evidenced arguments
- Students will produce texts that exhibit an attention to establishing an ethical stance toward topic and audience
- Students will produce rhetorically aware, user-centered workplace genres
- Students will produce rhetorically aware work in multiple modalities
- Students will produce texts that engage with issues of the interactions of power, identity, culture, and literacy in their topical and social complexity
- Students will produce texts that engage the historical and cultural contexts of genres and practices of writing
