New Phone and the Authenticator App Isn't Working?

For students: whenever you get a new phone, you will need to contact us to reset the Authenticator app. Please call us at 315-443-2677 as we will need to verify your identity to get the app set up on your new phone. If you are unable to call us, you can send an email to help@syr.edu with your preferred day and time in Eastern Time for a Zoom appointment.

Staff must complete additional verification to reset their Authenticator app. They can do this by contacting us at 315-443-2677 and completing a Zoom verification meeting, or by visiting us in-person at the Service Center.

Faculty needing the Authenticator app reset must contact their academic or administrative support personnel.
