There are three steps in this process. To obtain access, you must:

Your Professor Must Request Access On Your Behalf

Select classes offer a ONE YEAR license to select VMWare Software via VMware IT Academy Program / D2L Brightspace. (This program was formerly known as MS Imagine Fusion or OnTheHub.) Since enrollment in a specific class grants access to this software, in order to be enrolled in this program, please have the professor of your course make an enrollment request on your behalf through ecscit@syr.edu.

After enrollment, you will need to complete the steps detailed below:

Once ECS CIT activates your account, you will receive an email requesting that you complete the registration process.

Enter the data requested

Click "Create Account"

YOU MAY NEED TO LOG OUT, AND LOG BACK IN AGAIN TO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR NEW PRIVILEGES

Obtain Software Products & Licensing Keys

NOTE: INSTRUCTIONS TO DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE WILL COME WITH YOUR REGISTRATION KEY!!!

Login to https://itacademy.brightspace.com/d2l/login with the account created in the previous step

Exit out of the Introduction pop up

Click "Software Products & License Keys"

In the  bottom of the "Direct Links for Software Download" square, click "To request software license keys click here."

Choose your desired software

Click the button REQUEST

You should receive the following message
