Online Teaching Support

Instructors seeking technical assistance and training should email help@syr.edu. For support in adapting your teaching strategies for online or hybrid instruction, please fill out the course transition assistance form or contact the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence.

Online Success Toolkit

An Online Success Toolkit has been created for those teaching and learning online as a result of the campus' continued response to COVID-19.

If you are a distance learner or simply unable to visit campus, be sure to check out the Online Success Toolkit developed in partnership with the Office of Online Student Success.

Information and Communication Technology accessibility at SU means ensuring that all technology is usable by the greatest number of students, faculty and staff possible, including those with disabilities, so that everyone is able to participate to the maximum extent that they can. Blackboard learning management software makes class content available to students via the Internet. Blackboard provides students and instructors with interactive web 2.0 technologies such as blogs and wikis.

Online Learning Services



Online Learning Services is a unit within Information Technology Services at Syracuse University. Their primary mission is to provide leadership and support in the appropriate use of technology for teaching, learning, and research.
