Troubleshooting

If your device is not seeing any of the SU wireless networks, or you simply can't connect to AirOrangeHelp, you may be having software or hardware related issues with the device. We recommend contacting ITS for further assistance.

If the device will not complete the "Connect to Network" or "Authenticate" step in the Xpress Connect Tool, please ensure that you have the latest Wi-Fi driver installed and verify your credentials on our NetID self service page.

If your desired browser is being redirected back to the AirOrangeHelp page, please clear the cache of your browser to alleviate the redirect.

Sometimes having the date and/or time being incorrect  will also cause an issue with proper connectivity. This can sometimes be an issue with international devices that are set to a different time zone, so we advise when attempting to connect to have that updated for the Eastern Time Zone prior to connecting.

For configuration assistance stop by the ITS Service Center and a consultant will assist you with the device. For further assistance or general questions, call 315-443-2677 during our business hours or email us at help@syr.edu.
