This document explains how to connect to the DBLAB.ISCHOOL.SYR.EDU server using Microsoft SQL Management Studio (SSMS) from an SU domain-joined computer (SU Lab computer or RDS.SYR.EDU)

| Launch SQL Server Management Studio, and click File => Connect Object Explorer from the menu. |  |
| Enter the following information into the Connect to Server dialog. Server Type: Database Engine Server Name: dblab.ischool.syr.edu Authentication: Windows Authentication (Selecting this should change the Username to "AD\yourNetID") Click Connect (The Password field will be blank) |

Once connected you can browse to your database using the Object Explorer window. The DB name will be in the following format: "ISTcourse#_Section#_netid" |
