Log into MySlice with your NetID and password. These credentials are manageable on the NetID self-service page that was used to activate your account.
Please find the "Personal Profile" tile and click on it.
2.View Name
Click on right arrow [>] to view your Primary name.
3.Add Name
Click on plus sign [+] to enter a Preferred Name (display name).
Enter your preferred name information, required fields are represented with an asterisk [*], then click “Save.” Keep in mind the change can take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout various systems.

Are you looking to change the way your name is displayed in your email, MySlice, Blackboard, etc.? Follow the instructions below.
Log Into MySlice
Log into MySlice with your NetID and password. These credentials are manageable on the NetID self-service page that was used to activate your account.
Please find the "Personal Services" applet. Select "View/Update Names."
Next to "Preferred" click on "edit."
Enter your preferred name information and click "save." You should log out and back into any resources to see the change. Keep in mind the change can take a few hours to propagate throughout the various systems.
