5. Wait for Approval
Once you've submitted your application, you will receive an email from GitHub notifying you of the approval (this can take a few days). Github do need to verify the students your student status as these free services do cost GitHub money due to high compute usage/demand so that we they can best avoid abuse of our their offering.
