How to To schedule your examsexam:

  1. Listen to Instructions will be provided by your professor for the instructions on how you are graded , and what is required of you.

  2. Then, schedule your exams when you are prepared here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Nb4VveEkRZ1WJC8LC_kXTD9FHcFLlFVQYKdaPPuPUS0 - the list of time slots available are listed in that link. No changes will be made once your slot is confirmed(Link) - timeslots are listed in the dropdown in the link.

Some things to note:

  1. You will need input your Syracuse email address.

  2. 1 entry per student. Confirmation will be emailed to you after you fill it up.

  3. If the slot is full it will be removed from the list.

  4. If you fail to show up for your timeslot, you lose your 1st try.

  5. One day before your exam a confirmation email will be sent to you.

  3. Microsoft certification exams MUST be taken on a Windows machine, so be sure to study from that perspective (not on a Mac as the functionality are different).

  4. If you require a Windows Environment to study, please you one of the Labs in the Edit Suites (472), BDJ Labs (482,482A,486,491) or RDS (https://rds.syr.edu/)

  5. Passing any of these exams will require that you study. Surface-level knowledge of any of these programs will not be enough to pass the exam.

On the Day Itself:

  1. Bring your SUID. (Get Mobile app is fine as well)

  2. Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your exam time. Newhouse 2 472 Edit Suites.

  3. All electronic devices must be turned off/silenced and checked in with the proctor.

  4. Once you are seated, proceed to login using your userid/password for Certiport (Step 1 of preparation)

  5. Remember to check your email and take note of the Access Code to enter into the system.

  6. If you did not fill up your address in your account, you will be prompted to add your address in. Please have this information beforehand to speed things up.

  7. Breaks are allowed but the testing clock cannot be paused.

  8. You will immediately receives a pass/fail grade at the end of the exam.

  9. Once an exam is completed, you may view/print a certificate in the “My Transcript” section of your Certiport account.
